Roofing Service Rooted in Alvarado and Serving Texas
Mike Thompson founded Alvarado Roofing to deliver straightforward roofing service from a base in Alvarado, Texas. With deep local roots in Johnson County, he built the operation around the realities of hot summers, mild winters, and the occasional severe storms that hit roofs hard across the region.
The company stays owner-operated, giving customers direct access to the person handling the work rather than layers of management. From Downtown Alvarado out to nearby cities like Burleson, Cleburne, and Joshua, the focus remains on practical roof replacement and repair that matches the housing stock and weather patterns found throughout Johnson County and the wider state.
Alvarado Roofing keeps regular hours so homeowners and property managers can reach someone who knows the terrain and soil conditions that affect every job on the ground. The approach emphasizes upfront quotes and workmanship customers can inspect before committing statewide.
I started Alvarado Roofing after watching storm after storm batter homes across Johnson County, from Downtown Alvarado out to the Johnson County Fairgrounds. With deep roots here, I built the company to handle roofing service and roof replacement work that stands up to hot summers and the occasional severe weather that rolls through. From our base in Alvarado we now serve homeowners statewide, including jobs in Burleson, Cleburne, and Joshua. You can find us at Alvarado, TX Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5pm and Saturday 7:30am to 3pm.

What Texas Customers Say
“Hail from the March storm cracked shingles along the north slope near Alvarado High School. Alvarado Roofing pulled the damaged ones, replaced them with matching 30-year architectural shingles, and resealed the ridge vents. No leaks showed up during the next heavy rain.”
“An oak limb from our backyard tree punched through the garage roof during the April windstorm. They cleared the debris, installed new plywood and underlayment in that section, then blended the shingles so the patch is barely noticeable.”
“Water was dripping into the attic above the kitchen from an aging composition roof. The crew stripped two layers down to the deck, added new synthetic underlayment, and laid fresh shingles across the whole house. The attic has stayed dry through every storm since.”
